Probably the main concern is a quiet place to work from home, so if your alone with no pets during your times you schedule to take calls — you are good to go!! Scripts are usually provided, but be prepared to do a lot of dialing to get the amount of answers you need.

Data entry seems to be what everyone thinks they want to do for a work from home job, strictly data entry you better be an amazingly fast typist to make it pay well. Transcription has to be the most popular data entry type of work and works well for a lot of people, I personally tried it out, and sadly I get headaches and just do not type fast enough. A foot pedal for transcription is a must so you can stop, rewind, start over as needed. There are sites that hire data entry workers for various online tasks such as setting up accounts and posting links and research compiling data.

Are you techie?? So much need for web designers, coders and seo experts. Oh, and don’t forget technical support. If your friends are always asking you for help with their computer and you are glad to do it, you just found a great niche for you to work in and to be able to do it as work from home, what a bonus!! Be prepared you will likely need A+ certification and more along with cable or dsl internet.
Maybe you are more artistic? If so, you may find yourself designing t-shirts, or website graphics, or even cartoons. Photoshop experts work a lot with website template designs — slicing graphics and cutting down load times for web pages. You may want to setup a gallery of your previous work as part of your resume. Many times with graphic design requests the person or business hiring will want to see some of your work up front.
